O’s Notes: Eric sings the blues and tickles the ivory too! “I’ve Got News For You” is the epitome of what he’s saying. The eleven songs have a swinging blues feel from the 1960s including a four-piece horn section accentuating all of the fine points. Bryd teams up with Lea Gilmore singing two cool numbers notably “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. It’s a good blend that is enjoyable.
