O’s Notes: Columbian, acoustic guitarist Juan Carlos Quintero has a warm, relaxing sound. Caminando is actually a reissue of The Way Home, released in 1997. The songs are in a slightly different order with Quintero’s fresh, new cover art. The music is still very relevant, a combination of rumba, cha-cha and cumbia. Pianist Joe Rotondi and a strong list of percussionists including Munyungo Jackson provide ample support.
