O’s Notes: Carlos plays fleeting, precision, flamingo guitar with a string quartet rounding the edges on Melodías del Retiro. There is a lot of enjoyable, original music and we specifically enjoyed “Mestre Toti”, “Vais del Fonoll”, and the festive “Alma”.
