O’s Notes: Pianist Yoko Miwa presents a peaceful set that soothes the soul. Drummer Scott Goulding and bassist Massimo Biolcati (Bronek Suchanek on tracks 3&8) accompany her. We enjoyed listening as she gracefully plays eleven originals. “Appalachian Trial” (North and South) and “Waltz for Willy” are notable. She changes things up a bit with “Tango Soledad” yet remains within the mood of the set.
