O’s Notes: The Wee Trio is Dan Loomis (b), James Westfall (vibes) and Jared Schonig (d). We liked the big spacey sound of “The Ghost of Potato Creek Johnny” that concluded with a rousing drum solo. It one of six originals composed by Westfall or Loomis with four covers. They strike a good balance swinging on “Wee See” adding bebop on “Pisces” and mesmerizing us with tunes like “There Is No greater Love” and “Satyagraha”.
