O’s Notes: Champian has a soft and expressive voice that bodes well on these fourteen classics. There is an old-timer, saloon-like feel going on here as David Berger marries Fulton’s voice with his orchestra, The Sultans of Swing. Together they have a stand up performance! We like the swinging vibes all the way through and the harmonies between Fulton and the vocal trio (Ryan Keberle, Matt Hong & Brian Pareschi) on “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love”. Other highlights are “You Turned The Tables On Me” with Champian tickling the ivory as well and “Too Close For Comfort” with sharp brass accents.
