O’s Notes: Trumpeter Cuong Vu’s 4-Tet includes Bill Frisell (g), Luke Bergman (b, g) and Ted Poor (d, Rhodes). They play a wide range of jazz-fusion including warm ballads and some racy rock. The program is mostly ballads notably “All That’s Left of Me Is You” and “Must Concentrate”. They light a fuse on “March Of The Owl And The Bat”, one of our favorites in a good set.
