O’s Notes: David plays sax, flute, clarinet and sings while leading quartet with Patrick Poladian (p), Michael Fleming (b) and Buddy Henry (d). They play seven standards with two of Block’s originals. They start out swinging on “Pick Yourself Up” and add a taste if calypso on “Fish Heads For The Garden”. David is an upbeat entertainer and that comes through when he sings adding to a good performance.
