O’s Notes: Fredrik leads a brassy contemporary band with fresh new music. It has Latin Rhythms, funky beats and the pace sometimes hints at country & western. This may sound like a strange combination but it works, with pianist Jacob Karlzon and bassist Mattias Svensson creating a strong nucleus for Fredrik’s sax and flute melodies. This is a part of the new creative jazz genius spouting from Copenhagen. It’s definitely worth a listen.
