O’s Notes: The deep warm and romantic vocals are perfect for the sounds of Christmas Carols. There’s a bit of a Caribbean feel to “The Little Drummer Boy” with JABBA adding a taste of rap. “The First Noel” with Gerald Albright (sax) and Dwight Sills (g), is followed by a stirring rendition of “White Christmas” with Kirk Whalum (sax) and Anthony Jackson (b). They even go hip hop on “All I Want For Christmas is You”. Yes, we are convinced that you should add this one to your Holiday CD collection.
