O’s Notes: The Inner Language Trio is bassist Lukas Traxel, drummer Tobias Backhaus and leader, pianist Christoph Stiefel. They open with a ballad, “Where do we go?” before picking up the pace to “Cut A Clearing In The Wilderness”. They slow down again on the mysterious “Prayer” followed by the cool mid-tempo of ”Salomon’s Dream” then up again on “Raining Iguanas”, one of our favorites.
