O’s Notes: Rigmor combines popular R&B ballads like “Walk On By” with swinging jazz beats and her jazzy vocals. These are new arrangements that are far more engaging than standard covers. “Move Me No Mountain” has a funky bass & drum beat along with a cool solo for Nils Landgren on trombone. She expands her reach on “Alfie” displaying lots of presence. This is just a hint of the fourteen selections. Rigmor comes across as a subtle sexy singer that is fun. Her style is unique yet has hints of Sade with shades of Country & Western but she is definitely jazzy! Backed by the Jacky Terrasson Trio, this is an excellent performance.
