O’s Notes: This is jazz guitar a la Mike Scott, leading a quartet with Joe Bagg (keys), Darek Oles (b) and Jake Reed (d). They play cool, funky numbers like “Now and Later” ranging to tranquil blues numbers like “Jack’s Dilemma” and “Dark Bossa”. We also enjoyed the Monk-like bounce on “Boom Diddle It”.
