O’s Notes: This music is modern jazz with a healthy dose of Latin spices thrown in. Composer, Paunetto plays vibes and piano along with a very talented group of musicians including Tom Harrell (t), Abe Laboriel (b), John Scofield (g), Steve Slagel (fl) and Andy Gonzalez (b, percussion). The music was recorded in 1976 and it stands the test of time. Today, it easily has a place in any jazz rotation.
