O’s Notes: Tenor saxophonist Jacob Chung leads a quintet with Vincent Herring (a-sax), Tyler Henderson (p), and Caleb Tobocman (b), and Joe Farnsworth (d) on his latest release, The Sage. This band is a blend of three young lions with two proven, polished vets! They open swinging on “My Aspiration” and don’t let up aside from on “Embraceable You”. “Jeannine”, “Vincent’s Place”, and the title track are notable.
