O’s Notes: The All Purpose Blues Band is Willie Lockett (vocals, t), Billy Gregory (g, vocals), Paul R. Boudreaux (vocals, b) and Tony D’Alessandro (perc, d). Gregg Villafranco makes a guest appearance on keyboards. They have the grungy voices, the New Orleans blues groove and an abundance of soulful blues lyrics. Most of the selections are originals with the requisite classics sprinkled in to make it reminiscent of Bourbon Street’s best.
