O’s Notes: The players are Mark Helias (b), Christy Doran (g), Gary Thomas (fl, sax) and Bobby Previte (d). This is a rock fusion set that is loaded with energy. They add funk to the mix on “Skin”, “The Same But Different” and “Bass Minotaur”. And they play like a jam session on “Heitere Gelassenheit”. The music was recorded in the Spring of 1991 in Germany. Corporate Art is an eclectic, enthusiastic set that comes together nicely.
