O’s Notes: The opener “Gulab Jammin” had a nice beat but it was the second cut, “Pairs” that caught our attention. It had a strong dose of funk spread between the spacey melodies yet never off the cliff. “Fade Into Oblivion” was also good. Hague’s staccato solos on guitar and sitar were well suited against the free flowing rhythms. This is a very good fusion of Indian music with contemporary jazz.
