O’s Notes: This doo-wop vocal quartet has been harmonizing, scatting and delighting audiences for over thirty years! They have made jazz more palatable to broad audiences. They really enjoy singing and it spills over to listeners. They take a trip back to some swinging classics for this session. Songs like “Sing Moten’s Swing” and “Up A Lazy River” feel like the 1930’s. The session was recorded live in Tokyo during 2000. Great band, great material and performance.
