O’s Notes: Saxophonist Noah Preminger leads a quartet with Jason Palmer (t), Kim Cass (b) and Ian Froman (d). They play nine blues based instrumentals. Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground is the title and Preminger kept to that theme with dark blue and violet tones resonating throughout the set. The best bet is “Trouble In Mind”, a sultry blues number.
