O’s Notes: Jazz guitarist, composer and producer Kenny Carr assembles a strong quartet with saxophonist Donny McCaslin, bassist Hams Glawischnig and Kenny Wollesen on drums. They perform a warm set that will resonate with a large audience. “Time Change” is a mellow tune followed by the funky “Tell Me I Can’t”, just a couple of many good songs. We also enjoyed “Waiting”, “Intervals” and “D&P” on Carr’s“Departure, a statement of jazz-fusion.
