O’s Notes: The Outer Bridge Ensemble (OBE) is Mark DeJong (sax), Steve Hudson (p), David Freeman (perc) and Jerome Jenkins (d). They invite four guests to join them for a fresh set of original jazz-fusion. Each of the members of OBE contributes original compositions with Hudson having a hand in four of the eight. The music comes together nicely striking a cool groove across all tempos with a subtle Latin vibe.
