O’s Notes: Multi-instrumentalist, composer and bandleader Jeremy Wilms steps away from playing what other people prescribe to listening to his inner spirit on Diamond People. He assembles a talented team and they cut across many jazz genres in a set that is mostly modern bop and fusion. Though he’s inwardly focused the music remains accessible. We preferred the more traditional tracks notably “Answers” and “Clone Village”.
