O’s Notes: Dave gives us two of his best live sessions: at the National Cathedral in Washington DC in 1995 and at the Royal Festival Hall in England in 1998. There is a lot of good music but he reworks the classics “Take Five” and “Cherokee” to perfection, the former in both locations. This 2001 release celebrates is 80th birthday.
