O’s Notes: Judy swings with the music on the title track, a fine example of the music on this session. Her voice is large and modulated with great control. The program includes fresh takes of standards that have great feel. The arrangements include space for some excellent instrumental solos as well. Check out Gilbert Castellanos (t) on “Comes Love”, Bob Sheppard (sax) on “Pent Up House” and Darek Oles (b) on “Bye Bye Country Boy”. Judy scats alongside of pianist Jeff Colella on “In Love In Vain”. The combined tones are sweet. The overall balance of words and music is perfect making this session jazzy and cool.
