O’s Notes: This is a guitar lovers dream album featuring virtuoso Freddie Bryant in solo, duo and trio configurations. Chris Potter (reeds) and bassist Scott Colley are prominent guest artists. They come together as a trio on three selections notably “Everyday Is The End and Beginning of Life Beautiful”. Beatrice Rippy delivers the lone vocal with a soaring soprano on “I’m Going To Tell God All Of My Troubles”. Bryant is the star of the session playing acoustic, arch top and electric guitars with sweet arrangements of originals and classics like “Watermelon Man” and “Goodbye Porkpie Hat”.
