O’s Notes: This band features Vincent Herring on sax, and producer Joris Dudli on drums. They are a tight unit. We’ve seen them perform live a few times and always come away rejuvenated. This recording approximates those experiences. There are ample solo opportunities and they are all up to the task. Check out bassist Richie Goods on “All That Pain” and Anthony Wonsey tickling the ivory on “Speak Low”.
