O’s Notes: The first track, “Intro:Bayou” has an exotic, Indian feel. Then they switch gears getting into a relaxed groove on the title track followed by the funky cool “Nardis”, with nice work on bass from Doug Dunlap and on drums from leader, Dan Walzer. Chuck Wiggins plays accordion, keyboard and vocals and gives the group an international flavor. The engaging adventurous “Salsa Raga” is a statement of the World beats they play. By the time we got to the end we realized that this collection had a broad spectrum of tunes,… Most of them are good.
