O’s Notes: New York based bassist Mark Wade leads a trio with Tim Harrison (p) and Scott Neumann (d). Mark has played in the symphony, on Broadway and is a music educator. For Event Horizon the focus is jazz. They play a combination of mixed tempo, modern jazz and soft ballads. Eight of the nine tracks were composed by Wade who shares the melodies with Harrison. “Twist In The Wind” and the jovial “Jump For Joy” are among the best of the lot in a set that is embraceable.
