O’s Notes: Young jazz vocalist Alyssa Allgood has something to say and you may want to check her out! Although we missed her well-regarded debut“Out Of The Blue, we are impressed with her poise and confidence on this sophomore outing.“Exactly Like You“is a swinging set with Alyssa never missing a beat from the opening title track and progressing through the rousing finale “Yardbird Suite”. Dan Chase works the B3 hard with guitarist Kyle Asche and Greg Artry on drums. Allgood’s delivery is up front and center but embraceable and well articulated. They all shine on “It’s Magic”, “Alone Together” and “Ask Me Now”.
