O’s Notes: Sisters Euclid is a Canadian instrumental quartet led by guitarist Kevin Breit. Ian de Souza (b), Rob Gusevs (keyboards) and Gary Taylor (d) are the other band members. The music is an eclectic mix of rock, fusion and blues. Breit slices through the melodies on the opener before they strike the blues on “Big Al”. Parker’s “Donna Lee” takes on new life with French vocals and accents from Denis Keldie (accordion). We enjoying this transformation as well as the eerie “Years and years of espionage under her belt” with a strong flute solo from Jane Bunnett. Many of the songs will stretch your imagination. Kenny’s band has managed to excite a local following for about ten years with this unique formula!
