O’s Notes: Hristo plays guitar and leads a quartet with Weber Iago (p), Dan Robbins (b) and Mike Shannon (d). The quartet performs nine Vitchev compositions, all modern jazz-fusion with varied tempo. The interaction between Iago and Vitchev is well knit and relaxed. Our favorites were the last three tracks notably “The Fifth Season”.
