O’s Notes: Jefferson Rose plays bass and leads a band centered around seven musicians. Alex Kitchen (vocals), Naomi Siegel (tb), Tobi Stone (sax, fl), Aaron Walker-Loud (d), Ahkeenu Musa (perc) and Cameron Brownfield (g) are the core. They were ” bred in Seattle, Chicago and California, by way of Ghana, Spain, Louisiana and the Caribbean.” Feel Like Dancing is their second release with festive calypso music written by Rose, Kitchen and Seigel. The only thing missing is rum punch and the salty ocean breeze!
