O’s Notes: Daria has a pleasant voice that complements these rearranged standards. This could be the opening line for any review of a fine vocalist. But the fusion of Latin, jazz and more contemporary beats makes this album different. The band includes Alex Acuña (perc), José Neto (g) and David Yamasaki (g). They add a healthy dose of funky beats to the music transforming these classics into fresh works of art. “All Or Nothing At All” and “Don’t You Worry About A Thing” are excellent examples.
