O’s Notes: Anna Danes is a vibrant singer who is not at all bashful with a deep rich voice that is soothing and well articulated. She came into the entertainment world in her forties and this is her second release. Danes is supported by pianist/arranger Rich Ruttenberg, bassist Trey Henry and drummer John Ferraro. The songs, “It’s Crazy”, “I Want To Be Around/Cry Me A River” and ten others including some originals are warm tunes that sound fresh. “That’s All” is another standout as Anna is making it work!
