O’s Notes: Veteran vocalist and pianist Jo Thompson sings fifteen classic jazz tunes in front of the JC Heard Orchestra. The large ensemble is under the direction of lead trumpeter Walt Szymanski. This is classic swinging jazz entertainment. Highlight are “Jumpin’ With Jo”, “Ain’t Misbehavin’/Feets Too Big” and “I’m A Woman”. This is one that will help recollect memories.
