O’s Notes: Righteous Rooster is a Chicago-based organ trio featuring Henry Dickhoff (B3), Kenny Reichert (g), and Luke Sagadin (d). Fowl Play is their debut, a funky, jazz groove containing six original tunes. We enjoyed “James Beam”, “The Fridge”, and “Aravind” with a crisp guitar intro. This is a head-bobber that suggests the trio has staying power!
