O’s Notes: This recording was originally released in 1993. It was and still is a very good compilation of jazz ballads both American standards and Brazilian bossa nova beauties. Highlights include “The Waters of March” and “Adeus America” with both English and Portuguese lyrics; “The Lady Is A Tramp” and “Hit The Road To Dreamland”. The update is in sound quality with SACD and it is significant.
