O’s Notes: Diana is singing smoky blue ballads for From This Moment On. The beat is bouncing on “Exactly like You” with Anthony Wilson (g) balancing the rhythm. The Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra joins in for several tracks to provide powerful brass accents and a luscious big band sound. Krall shows a wide vocal range with scatting and singing as well as accompaniment on piano that has kept her at the top of the charts.
