O’s Notes: Gabriel plays all of the brass, mainly trumpet. Miles Black handles all keyboards and Tony Chamberlist anchors the beats on drums and percussion. They all play a role in writing the music, eight of the ten songs. It is a series of smooth and mellow grooves starting with “Take That” moving through “Been Around The World”, the lone vocal featuring Dee Daniels and cooler tracks like “Tempting Fate”. Electronics find their way into the music but not generally overly distracting.
