O’s Notes: Ernie is a cross between blues singer and balladeer. His voice is captivating and pleasing to the ear. Add sax from both Houston Person and Teddy Edwards plus some nice work on keys from Aaron Graves and you’ve got a a potent combination. It’s down home music like “Old Man River” and “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool”. A good club set.
