O’s Notes: Gotcha Rhythm Right Here is a collaboration (writing, producing and arranging) between master guitarist John Tropea and Chris Palmaro on piano and the B3. They invite a lot of talented musicians to join them including Steve Gadd (d), Randy Brecker (t), Lew Soloff (t) and David Mann (sax). The music is a really cool collection of bluesy jazz-fusion that rocks with a groove that makes you want to move! “Side By Two”, “Soul Surfin'”, “7th Avenue South” and “Les Is Moe'” are among the best in a winning season.
