O’s Notes: The music has a soft western feel. The vocals mix country and pop. Richie takes the lead on both fronts playing guitar and singing. There are more guitars courtesy of Walter Parks and Chris Cunningham with coloration coming from Badal Roy (tabla), Randy Crafton (Riqq shaker), Patrick Dawes (congas, bongos, percussion) aand Hasan Isakkut (Turkish violin, kanun). Even with the Eastern instruments, the sound is easily accessible on this world music session.
