O’s Notes: This is cooking instrumental blues led by Ronnie’s guitar and Jimmy McGriff on the Hammond B3. The rest of the band keeps it all together while producer Joe Harley optimizes the sound, making this an excellent selection. After the Saturday night party on the first nine selections, they take us to church with “Blues on a Sunday” and “Amazing Grace”.
