O’s Notes: Ray plays a throaty trombone and Marty compliments with a smoother sound on sax and clarinet. They have played alone and together for over 30 years! This is their first studio recording, a follow-up to the live 2009 Jazz Festival Willisau. They are joined by Matt Wilson (d) and Brad Jones (b). The music is all-original – 4 by Ehrlich and 3 from Anderson. It is modern jazz with a large free element culminating with the title track.
