O’s Notes: Nancy is an entertaining singer with lots of stage presence. She leads a sweet sixteen songs including a warm rendition of “It’s DeLovely” where she is shadowed by Gary Herbig (cl). While Nancy’s voice is strong, she benefits from the dynamic accompaniment of the 17-piece orchestra. Among the best tunes are “Mister Sandman” and “Georgia On My Mind”. It sounds like much more than a debut recording as she sings with an abundance of confidence.
