O’s Notes: This is a large ensemble with beautiful brass arrangements. The music was written by little known jazz drummer Earl Zindars. Where he is known, he is highly applauded. This session will add to the accolades with some nice arrangements by pianist Cunliffe. We particularly like the harmonized reeds. The session is well executed and very enjoyable.
