She opens fresh a fresh bossa nova beats of the title track singing and scatting in concert with nature. This is the overriding theme for the session, a combination of well placed covers with originals by Honert and Martin that come together well. Some of the best are the joyful beats of “Storylines” and “Two Steps” with the gentle breeze of Nascimento’s “Bridges”. Honert has a winning formula here!
