Houston Person again provides strong accompaniment on sax with her regular rhythm section Stuart Elster (p), Richard Simon (b) and Lee Spath (d). I Love You Yes I Do is focused on a wide variety of pop, blues and soul, each with Morrison’s special sauce. Though her range has shortened, her tone is true. Barbara stays within the lines and injects more passion into the music than many singers can ever imagine. This is a formula that keeps her in demand on tour.
