O’s Notes: Donnie Walsh is more commonly known as Downchild, guitarist singer and producer of this rockin’ blues album. He leads a team that includes singer Chuck Johnson, Pat Carey (sax), Gary Kendall (b) and drummer Mike Fitzpatrick. Colin James & Wayne Jackson of the Memphis Horns are featured on “Somebody Lied”. Colin Linden (g) and Dan Ackroyd (harmonica) make a guest appearance on “You Don’t Love Me”. The blues beats are basic but the featured artists add color and the lyrics make it all worthwhile! Among the best are “What Was I Thinking” and “Down In The Delta”.
